To Be Hit By A Ladder After A Fall- (A Malay Proverb)

This is a sad story of a green car, an MPV in fact that had only managed to render its service for mere 5 years, which can easily be considered short, considering it being a sturdy machine that was still going pretty strong with no major pitfalls. Last unfortunate February, its owner who needed to commute daily to a small town famous for its petrol plants, thought that the car was a bit jerky and sent it for fine tuning to the family mechanic, who, after this sad accident, no longer is the family mechanic. Apparently, the mechanic who was involved with the elections, was not in good shape as he probably had to stay late at night to raise the party flags. He was driving the car along a straight road and suddenly the car veered to the left, fell into a ravine, into a drain and finally hit against a tree. He escaped unscathed and also held no responsibilities whatsoever for the accident.

The car was a wreck. The insurance company decided that it was beyond repair and deemed it a total lost. They will only pay the owner 90% of the sum insured which had greatly depreciated for the last payment. The owner had 2 more years to furnish the car loan. Thus after deducting everything, he is only left with a small sum, enough for the down payment of a new car.

That was 6 months ago. Up till today, the insurance company hasn’t paid up a single Malaysian cent despite endless promises to do so. The bank has demanded the owner to continue paying the loan as the insurance company is keeping mum. So the owner has to continue paying up the loan even though the car is now sadly locked up in a store somewhere, useless.

Lesson learned: avoid subscribing to this particular insurance company!

It seems that this particular mechanic of yours had better stick to repairing automobiles rather than driving them around!

takaful malaysia ke?

first and foremost, the moment you made the report and the insurance accepted the total lost - the INSURANCE company now OWNS the vehicle. Hence, the BANK has to collect payment from the INSURANCE. Same goes once a car is reported stolen. You need not pay to the BANK, as it is NO LONGER your liability.

second, if the insurance is taking its own sweet time, ie more than 3 weeks to settle, Bank Negara has an avenue for you to complain. And the insurance company really HATES it when you complain to BNM. why? coz they have to write lengthy reports justifying a million things, failing which, they will suffer. Big Time! So, even an "advice" that you will call BNM usually (99%) gets them moving at supersonic speed. hehehe...

and if the BANK keeps demanding payment from you, tell them to collect from the INSURANCE company. if they keep harassing, then tell them you are going to report them too. ahahaha...

To all the comments above, I digest. Many facts are mind-boggling, I find.In this capitalist world, life is easy, not.

DITH,

I think you'll know what I mean.

Throw out all the sugar, wheat, corn, potatoes, dairy products out from you house. Can visualise my disapproving face whenever facing those food.

Get meat from kambing kampung (free range and grass eating goats or lambs) and buat sup, steak, kebab ker, apa apa lah, tapi jangan makan dengan carbohydrate.

Telur ayam kampung dua biji sehari pun ok. But no starcy vegs.

The trick is eating animal protein without the accompanying carbohydrate. Eat with brocolli, spinach, kankong ker. Overdose on those type of veges.

Then peria katak.

Don't take too much salt and no sugar.

Then step on the weighing machine and see, first of all the water loss, then slowly the fats.

Bulan puasa dah dekat. Jaga2 masa berbuka. Buka dengan protein dan vege aje. NO TO KUEH MUIH.

Remember the trick to spiritual cleansing is by first cleansing the gut!!!

he he he sorry for puting it here, but i lost your e mail
