Why dont you just let Ikelah decide and then tell him that you will accept, respect and 'redha' with with his decision, for that will also be YOUR decision.....tapi biar betul-betul datang dari hati tulus ikhlas la...

As a mum (maybe overly concerned) I sometimes dread when I have to make decisions, even a simple request to ride the bicycle by my daughter, Atiqah(10 yers old).

I hope that Allah will grant you the strength and the clear answer for such a dilemma.. if it's my own father I'd be feeling the same too, what's more the heart of a mother and a wife.
I am sure you (both?) will find the right solution. There are many ways to help you decide. I'm just guessing this is about Ikelah and one of his missions (where to?). Saya doakan yang terbaik.
